There's a common misconception that tension settings are insecure, but rest assured, this tension-set aquamarine is held securely in place and will not fall out unless the ring itself becomes significantly bent. However, because the stone is more exposed and doesn’t have a protective setting around it, please avoid wearing it during any strenuous or aggressive activities. The girdle (edge) of the stone is especially vulnerable and should be treated with care.
